The Brisbane River Catchment Flood Study completed in 2017. It informed the development of the Brisbane River Strategic Floodplain Management Plan. (Strategic Plan).

The study aims to create a better understanding of current and future flood risks. It identifies approaches to strengthen flood resilience across the Brisbane River floodplain. The Strategic Plan sets out an efficient and coordinated flood management approach. It focuses on the area across the floodplain downstream from Wivenhoe Dam. The document also includes data on the economic impact of a one in 100 AEP flood.

An overview document accompanies the full report. Brisbane River Strategic Floodplain Management Plan, and a factsheet. River Strategic Floodplain Management Plan. The full report sets up a framework. The framework coordinates flood mitigation (community/household) across the Floodplain. (Brisbane River). It doesn't present the detail on applying any of the mitigation measures.
