For storm and flood help, call the State Emergency Service (SES) on 132 500. For fires other than in an emergency, contact your state or territory service.

Building resilience, reducing harm, and recovering from disasters
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) supports families and communities across Australia. We provide recovery support following events such as floods, bushfires, cyclones, and drought.
We work in partnership with state and local governments. Together, we help communities to be better prepared and supported.
Our Coordination and Planning Officers work across Australia. To find support in your area, visit our Coordination and Planning Officers' page.
