COVID-19 support

Have you been impacted by COVID-19? Support is available.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is supporting families and communities across Australia impacted by COVID-19.

This page contains information about the Australian Government’s Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment and how to apply.

The Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment provides support if you are unable to work or earn income because you have been directed by a state or territory health official to self-isolate or quarantine.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment you either need to be diagnosed with COVID-19, have been identified as a close contact of a person who has COVID-19, or be caring for someone who has COVID-19.
